Paralegal Section Celebrates 25 Years

The State Bar of Michigan Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section will celebrate 25 years of membership with a special event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 9 at the State Bar of Michigan Annual Meeting in the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. 

The meeting will begin with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. The section business meeting will follow at 9 a.m., complete with an election and swearing-in of new officers and a presentation of scholarships to paralegal students. At 10 a.m., Bingham Farms attorney Corey D. Silverstein will present a keynote, “Criminal Defense Meets Social Media.” A buffet lunch will round out the event from noon to 1 p.m.
