Everyone is telling us that the “green revolution” is here but what does this mean for the various players in a new construction project. What are the parties trying to accomplish and what risks are they taking on? The last few years have seen a number of emerging concepts and design considerations which are changing the face of the industry. Sustainable design, LEED™ certification, Building Information Modeling and Integrated Project Delivery have all come onto the scene, each with its own new risks to be considered and allocated.

We have assembled a panel of experts representing architects, contractors, owners and insurers to discuss the risks and rewards of the “sustainable” project from each parties’ point of view. Following the panel discussion, individual tables will host discussions on many of the emerging issues facing the construction industry.
