The past year has been an active one for the Administrative Law Section. In the fall, a timely program discussing electrical restructuring and the California experience was presented. Members of the section authored the feature articles for the January administrative law theme issue of the Michigan Bar Journal, edited by Sharon Feldman. Peter Lark served as editor of the Administrative Law Quarterly, providing our membership with timely information and articles. Jackie Doig, chair-elect and program chair, led the efforts to produce a very successful spring program. The spring program discussed freedom of information issues, technology, and the integrity of the administrative process. Sharon Feldman and Dennis Donohue will be preparing an administrative law update to be included in the State of the Law for the annual meeting.
Through the hard work of the council and the membership, the section has provided educational opportunities and kept practitioners informed of the many developments in administrative law.
