All the Ways A Lawyer Helps

Wayne Law Students Dig In During Orientation

Just over a month ago, 131 first-year Wayne State University Law School students kicked off their law school careers by getting dirty during orientation. The students, along with several faculty and staff members, took part in the second-annual Michigan Urban Farming Initiative in Detroit, where they dug right in, wielding axes, saws, sledge hammers, shovels, paint brushes, rakes and trowels.

A premier public-interest law school in the Midwest, Wayne Law emphasizes community service and promotes that every law student make a contribution. To view more pictures, please visit Wayne Law’s Facebook page.
