On Saturday April 16, 2016, the Detroit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., hosted its third Expungement Fair. At the fair, pro bono attorneys met with over 1,200 participants, explained the expungement process, and helped the participants complete the necessary forms for requesting an expungement of eligible misdemeanor and felony convictions. Additional information was available onsite for child support services, job training, housing, financial literacy, and other community resources.
