2017 was a record-breaking year for the Pro Bono Circle of Excellence.  More than 60 firms and corporations were included on the 2017 Circle, more than any year in the Circle's history.  All of the firms and corporations on the list met the State Bar of Michigan’s Voluntary Pro Bono Standard because each lawyer within these firms donated at least $300 or provided 30 hours of free representation for low-income persons. The Firm Leadership Level is determined on an aggregate firm basis using a 30-hour or $500 donation standard, while the Excellence Level is determined on an aggregate firm basis using a 30-hour or $300 donation standard.
