Committee Reports
- Legislative Committee
Mr. Iwrey will write an article on the new Hart-Scott-Rodino amendments.
- Seminars Committee
Mr. Gravelyn has spoken to the Computer Law Section regarding a proposed joint 2 ½ to 3 hour seminar on e-commerce issues. Approximately half of the presentation would involve antitrust considerations for e-commerce. Potential topics include internet price controls, B2B exchanges, and joint purchasing agreements.
Under the proposed arrangement, the Computer Law Section would provide a speaker and a mailing list of potential attendees. The Antitrust Section would pay for the seminar costs out of our budget. We will target a date in late March for the seminar.
- Website Committee
Mr. Boonstra has forwarded Council Meeting Minutes through 1998 for inclusion on the web site. Mr. Gravelyn and Mr. Deline will e-mail the remaining Minutes to Nancy Brown at the State Bar. Each document must be saved and transmitted as a separate MS Word or Wordperfect document, and should be sent to Nbrown@michbar.org.
Old Business
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Brian J. Masternak
