The Aviation Law Section was proud to co-sponsor with the Michigan Bureau of Aeronautics an Aviation Safety Seminar, featuring legendary United Airlines Captain Al Haynes, on April 25 in Flint. Captain Haynes presented on “crisis management,” referencing his own experience piloting United Flight 232 DC-10 to a crash landing at Sioux City, Iowa on July 19, 1989. The evening was well attended by section members, pilots, and aviation enthusiasts.
