1. Publication of Michigan Business Law Journal
Volume XXIII, Issue 1 of the Journal has been printed and mailed and is also available online at www.michbar.org.
We have received a substantial number of articles for the next issue, in large part because of the efforts of the Debtor/Creditor Rights Committee in soliciting material for publication.
The transition to a new ICLE copy editor for the Journal appears to be going smoothly.
A current schedule of publication dates, dates for submission of articles, and committee assignments is attached.
2. Council Approval
At its December 2002 meeting, the Council discussed the possibility of including a short description of each Section committee in the Journal in order to encourage interest in and participation on the committees. In view of the already substantial amount of front matter contained in the Journal (five pages) and the fact that the committee descriptions are available online, the Council may wish to revisit this idea.
Respectfully submitted,
Robert T. Wilson
