Criminal Law Section on SBM Connect

SBM Connect will eventually replace the current section website. Both websites will run concurrently to allow you time to discover the new tools and features available to members.

Council Meetings

    The Council's next meeting will take place on December 9, a week earlier than originally scheduled. It will be held in the main dining room at Copper, the restaurant at Walnut Hills Country Club, located at 2874 Lake Lansing Road (east of US-127). Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m., with dinner and the meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting schedule for the remainder of the term is:

    January 20
    February 17*
    March 17
    April 21
    May 19
    June 16

    *February's meeting will be held at the Mid-Winter Conference at Shanty Creek.

Winter Ski Conference

    President's Day Weekend: February 14-16, 2015

    On Saturday, Tim Baughman will kick off the conference with his discussion of last year's high-impact court decisions. On Sunday, Steve Fishman will discuss his work in the case of People v. Joseph Weekley.

    For members who want to attend the conference for a single day, additional sessions will be offered on Sunday. The detailed agenda will be posted in future newsletters and on our website.
