Now you can catch up with the latest from the e-Journal while you're on the move. Using AvantGo's free software, you can download the e-Journal's case summaries and bar events when you synchronize your handheld computer.

Subscribe now - it's free:

1. Go to AvantGo.com to download the software. (If you already have AvantGo software installed, go to step 2 below.) The process should take only a few minutes. AvantGo provides software for your handheld computer, and a small Windows utility to manage the channels you subscribe to, which is installed on your computer during the sign-up process.

2. Subscribe to the State Bar of Michigan e-Journal channel to get content designed for your palm.

Using the e-Journal Mobile Edition:

To make the most of the e-Journal mobile edition, we recommend that you synchronize your device at least once a day, Monday through Friday.

If you click on the link above, the following steps occur:

1. If you are an AvantGo user and are logged in, the e-Journal channel will be added to your account.

2. If you are an AvantGo user and are not logged in, you will be asked to log in, and then to add the e-Journal channel to your account

3. If you are not an AvantGo user, instructions on AvantGo's site will guide you through the install process, and then you may add the e-Journal channel to your account

4. When you press the "finish" button, AvantGo will bring you back to the referring page. (i.e. The page that contains the add_channel link on the e-Journal site.)

Once you have clicked on this link, (assuming you have logged in to your AvantGo account) you will see a page that looks something like this:

Click on the "Save Channel" button in order to complete the transaction.
