HB 5905 Criminal procedure; prosecuting attorneys; requirement for prosecutor to consent to jury waiver; remove. Amends sec. 3, ch. III of 1927 PA 175 (MCL 763.3).
HB 5931 Human services; other; immunity for certain human services employees; prohibit. Amends 1939 PA 288 (MCL 710.21 - 712A.32) by adding sec. 2f to ch. XIIA.
SB 1218 Torts; immunity; medical personnel with immunity from tort liability for search and rescue and tactical operations; clarify that physician's assistants are included. Amends sec. 7 of 1964 PA 170 (MCL 691.1407).

2006-16 - Proposed Amendment of Rules 6.302 and 6.310 of the Michigan Court Rules
The proposed amendments of MCR 6.302 and MCR 6.310 would make the rules consistent with the federal rules, which preclude judicial involvement in negotiating plea agreements and limit the ability of defendants to withdraw guilty pleas.
