Rule Amendments
2005-44 - Amendment of Rule 3.973 of the Michigan Court Rules
(Dispositional Hearing)
The amendment provides that the court may enter a child support order at the dispositional hearing and that it must use the Michigan Child Support Formula as required by statute and the Uniform Support Order required by court rule in establishing the child support order.

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section submitted a public policy report on HB 5677: Probate; powers of attorney; uniform power of attorney act; enact. Creates new act & repeals secs. 5501 - 5505 of 1998 PA 386 (MCL 700.5501 et seq.).

The Family Law Section submitted the following public policy report stating its opposition to SB 1283: Family law; parenting time; factors to determine grandparent visitation; revise. Amends sec. 7b of 1970 PA 91 (MCL 722.27b).
