Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, Act No. 451 of the Public
Acts of 1994, as amended
Sec. 61508.
(1) The
supervisor shall prescribe rules of order or procedure in hearings or other
proceedings before the supervisor under this part. Rules promulgated or orders issued by the
supervisor shall be entered in full in a book to be kept for that purpose by
the supervisor. A copy of a rule or
order, certified by the supervisor, shall be received in evidence in the courts
of this state with the same effect as the original.
(2) A writing prepared, owned, used, in the
possession of, or retained by the supervisor in the performance of an official
function shall be made available to the public in compliance with the freedom
of information act, Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, being sections
15.231 to 15.246 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.
