Administrative Rules for
Rule 2423.
(1) A permittee of a well shall
dispose of natural, artificial, or processed brine into an approved underground
formation in a manner that prevents waste or in a manner approved by the
supervisor of mineral wells.
(2) A permittee of a well is
responsible for the proper disposal of all natural, artificial, or processed
brine or brine accumulated in drilling mud pits or tanks and shall ensure that
waste, as defined in sections 62501(m) and (p) of the act, will not occur.
