MICHIGAN SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT
1976 PA 399, as Amended, and the Administrative Rules
Rule
307. A supplier of water who requests an
exemption from the department shall include on the request for an exemption all
of the following information:
(a)
The nature and duration of the exemption requested.
(b)
Relevant water quality data of the public water supply, including the results
of tests conducted pursuant to part 7 of these rules and the act.
(c)
The date the public water supply was put into operation.
(d)
A complete explanation of the compelling factors, including, but not limited
to, time and economic factors which prevent the public water supply from
achieving compliance.
(e)
A proposed compliance schedule, including a date by which each step toward compliance
shall be achieved.
(f)
The date by which final compliance is to be achieved.
(g) Other information believed by the director or the supplier of water
to be pertinent to the request for exemption.
