Membership in the Section is open to all members of the State Bar of Michigan and to law students. Statements made on behalf of the Section do not necessarily reflect the views of the State Bar of Michigan.

Dues are $30 per year for members of the Bar, subject to the following exceptions.

    • Newly admitted members may join without charge.
    • Law students: No charge. Dues were waived during the 2007-2008 year; the Council has decided to continue the waiver of the section fee for law students.
