• Cornell Legal Information Institute Immigration Provides a good starting point for research on immigration law.  This site gives a brief history of immigration law in the United States and links to relevant federal statutes and regulations.

• WashLaw - Immigration  Links to immigration guides, bulletins, handbooks, and visa services.

• United States Government Immigration and Citizenship This site provides a broad range of information.

U.S. Government Sites and Laws

• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Provides information on how to obtain citizenship, employment authorization, adoption, green cards, medical examinations, and how to find legal advice as well as forms for immigration matters.
• U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency is in charge of enforcing immigration and customs laws.
• Executive Office for Immigration Review This department handles appeals from immigration judge decisions.  Its website has immigration appeal forms, recent immigration appeals decisions, and a list of free legal service providers.

Immigrant Rights

• Office of Special Counsel for Unfair Immigration-Related Employment Practices (Civil Rights Division) This office investigates immigration-related discrimination.  It also provides forms, brochures, and relevant immigrant rights related news.
• American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants' Rights Immigrant rights, current news, laws, and welfare.
