Annual Day of Education: 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. on May 2, 2008
Keynote Speaker– Rebecca Simkins Seslar, Esq.
Rebecaa Simpkins Seslar is an attorney in Detroit whose legal practice is focused on labor and employment law, representing management before state, federal, appellate and administrative courts and agencies. Ms. Simpkins Seslar will share her unique perspective on the role paralegals can play when it comes to Alternative Dispute Resolution, having once been a paralegal herself. She is also the current Secretary of the State Bar Law Practice Management Section, and is appointed to the State Bar’s Character and Fitness Committee.

The primary emphasis will be on alternative dispute resolution (ADR). We are currently exploring opportunities to partner with other State Bar Sections for this and future educational events.
