Earlier in the year MCBA members were asked if they’d consider several summer social events that would bring together members, spouses or significant others.

The response was underwhelming, but now that better weather is here, let me ask if you’d like the bar association to arrange any of the following:

1. Cocktail cruise on Port City Princess
2. Round-trip bus trip to view a Whitecaps game
3. Bus tour of craft breweries in Grand Rapids, Holland, Grand Haven, and Spring Lake

If response is positive to one or more we would then plan it and bring you further information.

Exchange Club Crime Prevention Program

We have added 2 schools; one of them an elementary school at their request. The increased violence in our community is evidence of the need to continue this critical partnership with the criminal justice community.

Please review the schedule with your staff/partners and send names of participants as soon as possible.

Our first school is in January and we need to be ready at the beginning of the year. I will keep you advised of any changes. Please call or email me with questions. Thank you for your willingness to help!
