    St. Clair County Bar Association was chartered to represent the interests of the legal profession in St. Clair County, promote improvements in the administration of justice, improve relations between the legal profession and the public, promote and preserve collegiality, civility, professionalism and high standards of integrity, honor and courtesy among lawyers who practice before the courts, and to promote impartiality and fairness in the administration of justice and among lawyers in St. Clair County.
 
Membership Information
 

The St. Clair County Bar Association is a voluntary membership association consisting of judges, lawyers, law students, and legal assistants. 

The St. Clair County Bar Association calendar year runs from July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008.  Membership in the association is required to sit as a mediator or to be eligible to receive indigent court appointments.  Membership fees are due by September 30, 2007 (fees are not prorated if joining after the fee due date).

Annual Fees

$100 - Regular Voting Member (Office within St. Clair County)
$100 - Associate Member – Nonvoting (Office outside St. Clair County)
$100 - Legal Assistant
$50 - Law Student (and through first bar exam results)
No Dues - Life Member (disabled and unable to continue in practice of law, 50+ years as practicing attorney, or age 70+ having been a regular member for at least 10 years)
