Marquette Ends Season of "Ask the Lawyers" with Special "Ask the Judges" Program

The final "Ask the Lawyers" show of the season for Marquette's WNMU-TV 13, aired on Thursday, June 15 from 8-9 pm eastern standard time with a special "Ask the Judges" edition. The program will resume in September.

The Marquette "Ask the Lawyers" show features three attorney panelists answering phoned-in questions from the public. The show averages about 50 calls per program from 13 cities and towns in the Upper Peninsula and Northeast Wisconsin.

"Ask the Lawyers" television programs serve to educate the public about the justice system and assists them by answering their general legal questions. The programs are sponsored by the State Bar of Michigan and air in several locations around the state.

The Genesee County program, which airs on ABC 12 (WJRT) in Flint, features a guest attorney answering prerecorded legal questions asked by the public. Viewers can also tune in to live broadcasts of "Ask the Lawyers" on WCMU-TV 14 (Mt. Pleasant/Bay City) and WGVU-TV 35/WGVK-TV 52 in Grand Rapids. Check local listings for dates and times.
