The Flint-area "Ask the Lawyers" show aired its 60th live segment on ABC 12 (WJRT) between 6:15 and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2000.

"Ask the Lawyers" appears every Wednesday morning on Flint ABC 12 during the morning program. It features a guest attorney answering pre-recorded legal questions asked by the public. The show is a program of the State Bar of Michigan and the Genesee County Bar Association.

The program, which launched its first broadcast in February 1999, features a different legal topic each week and reaches approximately 35,000 viewers in the Flint area. It serves to educate the public about the justice system and assists them by answering their general legal questions.

The public may ask their legal questions by calling (810) 232-8020 or toll free (877) 232-8020. Questions will be left on an answering machine at the Genesee County Bar Association, transcribed, grouped by legal topic, and used during the segment.
