State Bar Hires Development Campaign Associate

May 31, 2000

 
The State Bar of Michigan has hired John Huebler as Development Campaign Associate in the Access to Justice Development Department.

Huebler will report to Candace Crowley, Assistant Executive Director-Access to Justice Development, and his duties will include managing applications for charitable grants, managing donor gift acknowledgements, and pledge reminder tracking. Huebler will also work with volunteers and steering committee members of selected local Access to Justice (ATJ) development campaigns. Additionally, Huebler will be responsible for developing print materials for the State Bar's ATJ Campaign and will represent the ATJ Development Department at public speaking engagements and media events.

Before joining the State Bar, Huebler was the Development and Communications Director for the Lansing Area AIDS Network. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications, and formerly worked as an Information Technologist at Michigan State University (1986-1998).

Huebler is also the Publicity Chairman for the Capital Area Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives, and has been a volunteer fundraiser and board Member of various local, state and national advocacy organizations.
