New developments in business law will be highlighted at a September 12 program during the Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Michigan. The Business Law Section will present "Staying on Top of Recent Business Law Events." The event, which will have three sessions, will be held from 9:30 - 11:45 a.m. at the Lansing Center, in banquet room one.

The first session will be a panel discussion of the New ABA Model Asset Purchase Agreement with speakers Martin C. Oetting and Daniel H. Minkus from Clark Hill, PLC, and Eric V. Brown, Jr. from Miller, Canfield, Paddock & Stone.

The second session will feature James R. Cambridge from Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC. He will give an update on amendments to the Michigan Limited Liability Company Act. Justin G. Klimko will speak on updates to the Michigan Business Corporation Act.
