Erhart Appointed State Bar's Commissioner-at-Large

James N. Erhart of Petoskey has been appointed Commissioner-at-large of the State Bar of Michigan by the Michigan Supreme Court.

The appointment, effective July 23rd 2001, will be for a three-year term concluding at the Bar's Annual Meeting in 2004.

Erhart is a partner and shareholder in the Petoskey law firm of Stroup, Erhart and Wurster, P. C. He is also a mediator for the 33rd, 46th and 57th Circuit Courts.

A 1979 graduate of the Detroit College of Law, Erhart has been active in various State Bar of Michigan committees. He is also a former Representative Assembly member and served from 1997 to 2000 as consultant to the Bar as liaison to Northern Michigan lawyers.
