The State Bar of Michigan has hired Kathleen G. Fox as Human Resources Director. She will be responsible for the State Bar's personnel recruitment, benefit programs, salary administration, and job description updating.

Before joining the State Bar, Fox was the Assistant Vice President and Regional Human Resources Director at the Old Kent Bank in Kalamazoo. She has accumulated over 15 years of experience in human resources since earning her B.S. degree from Michigan State University. Fox's other Human Resource employment has included serving as Director of Human Resources of the United Bank of Michigan in Grand Rapids from 1996 to 1999, Employment Manager of Community First Bank in Lansing from 1993-1996, and Human Resource Manager of Inotech Biosystems International in Lansing from 1992 to 1993.

Fox is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and board member and Education Chair of the Association for Human Resource Managers. Her hobbies include painting, photography and gardening.
