State Bar Warns Public about Will and Trust Kits

10/10/01

State Bar of Michigan leaders stopped in the vicinity of the Presque Isle River during their tour of the Upper Peninsula in early October. The tour was an opportunity for the new leaders to meet and address members of the legal community. State Bar President Bruce Neckers described the trip as a real highlight. “Lawyers in the Upper Peninsula care deeply about the profession and the clients they represent. It was a real pleasure to renew old acquaintances and meet some great new people,” he said. State Bar executive director John Berry noted that lawyers in the Upper Peninsula were pleased that the Bar will be focussing more on helping the profession adapt to changes that affect the day-to-day practice of law.
