State Bar's Lisa Allen-Kost Chosen to Attend Future Leaders Conference

The State Bar of Michigan is pleased to announce that Lisa Allen-Kost, director of programs and services, has been selected to attend the American Society of Association Executives' Future Leaders Conference in Pinehurst, North Carolina, June 14–16.

Allen-Kost was nominated to attend the by invitation only conference by Dadie Perlov, a nationally recognized consultant to the Bar, and principal of Management Consultants Incorporated located in New York City. Allen-Kost was one of only 65 people selected to attend the conference out of hundreds of national nominees.

"Lisa is one of the rising stars in organization leadership and we are proud that she has been selected for this honor," said Bruce W. Neckers, president of the State Bar of Michigan.

The conference will feature Jeffrey B. Cufaude, principal, Idea Architects and conference mentors selected from the ASAE fellows. Participants will explore every topic of leadership in relation to risk taking, change agents, and effective leader styles.
