State Bar President-Elect to Meet with Area Lawyers

Reginald M. Turner

Reginald M. Turner, president-elect of the State Bar of Michigan will brief local lawyers on changes and challenges in the legal profession on Tuesday, September 17, 2002. Turner is the featured speaker for a dinner meeting of the Italian American Bar Association at Picano's Restaurant in Troy. Pre-dinner socialization begins at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Turner, who will soon become the 68th president of the State Bar, will address the implementation of the Bar's strategic plan, court reform and the public policy agenda. He is a partner in the Detroit law firm of Clark Hill and practices labor, employment, and election law. He also serves as a governmental affairs advisor to businesses and nonprofit organizations.
