Children's Law Section Sets May Training Sessions and Annual Dinner

The State Bar of Michigan Children's Law Section will hold two days of training on May 21-22, 2004, at the Comfort Inn in Mount Pleasant.

On Friday, May 21, free Lawyer/Guardian Ad Litem training sessions will take place. Programs will run from 8:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m. The section's annual dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, May 22, the section will hold its annual training with sessions from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participants may choose from two tracks, which will cover subjects such as the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), Internet research, juvenile competency, and Munchausen Syndrome.
