State Bar Elects Officers for 2004-2005

Nancy J. Diehl has been elected president of the State Bar of Michigan for the 2004-2005 Bar year. She will be sworn in as president of the more than 36,000-member organization at a luncheon held Friday, October 1, during the State Bar's 69th Annual Meeting in Lansing.

Also serving as officers for 2004-2005 will be President-Elect Thomas W. Cranmer of Bloomfield Hills, Vice-President Kimberly M. Cahill of Center Line, Secretary Ronald D. Keefe of Marquette, and Treasurer Edward H. Pappas of Bloomfield Hills. The new officers will assume their responsibilities at the close of the State Bar Annual Meeting, which will be held September 30-October 1, 2004 at the Lansing Center.

Diehl, who has worked in the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office since 1981, is currently the Chief Prosecuting Attorney, Felony Trial Division. She also serves on the Governor's Task Force on Children's Justice. Cranmer is a partner with Miro Weiner & Kramer PC in Bloomfield Hills. Cahill is a partner with Schoenherr & Cahill PC in Center Line. Keefe is a shareholder of Kendricks, Bordeau, Adamini, Chilman and Greenlee, PC in Marquette. Pappas is the Director of the Commercial & Business Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution at Dickinson Wright, PLLC in Bloomfield Hills.
