Oakland Bar's Novemberfest Event for New Lawyers to Take Place Nov. 16

Novemberfest, the Oakland County Bar Association's annual social event for new lawyers, will take place Thursday, Nov. 16. This year's event is sponsored by the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section.

Novemberfest will take place at Bahama Breeze, located at 539 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy, from 6-8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided. Cost of admission is a donation to HAVEN, the OCBA New Lawyers' chosen charitable organization for 2006. HAVEN, an acronym which stands for Help Against Violent Encounters Now, works to eliminate domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse throughout Oakland County and surrounding communities.
