ABA Seeks Volunteers for Feb. 10 Coffee With Experience Program at MSU
1/23/07

The American Bar Association’s Law Student Division seeks volunteers for its Coffee With Experience program, which takes place at Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Michigan State University College of Law beginning at 9 a.m.

Through the program, experienced lawyers meet with a group of 20-30 law students in an informal, roundtable setting to discuss their practice and offer sound advice about what they can expect in the workplace. Session typically last a little more than an hour.

The top request from law students of the ABA is hearing from practicing attorneys about how to best manage their educations and future careers. Lawyers who’ve previously participated in the program found it to be not only a valuable educational tool, but also professionally rewarding.

Attorneys willing to participate in Coffee With Experience can download a registration form from the ABA Law Student Division website at http://www.abanet.org/lsd/spring/coffee/2007/regform.html. For more information on the program, contact Carol Simmons with the ABA Law Student Division staff at (312) 988-5125 or carolsimmons@staff.abanet.org.
