SBM Business Law Section’s Small Business Forum Sponsors Government Assistance Seminar 10/15/08 The State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section’s Small Business Forum is holding a seminar for small- and medium-sized business owners titled “It’s Your Government and We’re Here to Help – Really!” on Thursday, Nov. 6. The event will take place from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Columbia Center in Troy. Representatives of governmental and quasi-governmental agencies will discuss with attendees resources available to Michigan’s small- and medium-sized businesses including financial assistance, financing sources, tax incentives, trade missions, development of business plans, and counseling and trouble-shooting.
