SBM Real Property Law Section to Host 2010 Winter Conference on "Being an Agent of Change" in Arizona

The State Bar of Michigan Real Property Law Section will hold its 2010 winter conference, titled "Being an Agent of Change," from March 11-13 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Highlights of the event include programs on topics such as financial incentives for sustainable design, wind farms, turning REDD credits into green carbon, real time trends in foreclosures, workouts and financing opportunities, avoiding pitfalls in Arizona real estate transactions, comparing and contrasting water rights in Michigan and Arizona, commercial real estate overview and trends, and exploring the effects of legislative changes.

Prior to Jan. 15, 2010, the registration fee is $300 for Real Property Law Section members who are also first-time attendees, $350 for other Real Property Law Section members, and $400 for non-section members. After Jan. 15, the fees increase across the board by $75.
