Bar Associations Encourage Pro Bono Work

The Hispanic Bar of Michigan and Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association joined forces on Oct. 7 to host a Pro Bono Law Day at the Detroit Hispanic Development Corp. in Detroit.
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. members of the public could attend the event and discuss any legal issues they may have had with a participating attorney for 20 to 30 minutes.
The event was coordinated by Dennis Donahue, of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and Lawrence Garcia, president of Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan.
