SBM Presents "Tips and Tools for a Successful Practice" Seminar on Wednesday, May 6

The State Bar of Michigan will present its annual one-day seminar designed to assist lawyers in managing and strengthening their legal practices. The seminar, titled "Tips and Tools for a Successful Practice," will take place from 8:45 a.m.-4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at State Bar headquarters in downtown Lansing.

This year's seminar features presentations on how to maintain mutually beneficial client relationships, draft effective fee agreements, manage trust and business accounts, use innovative techniques and technology for law office management, and analyze common ethical issues. Participants will receive a course book containing seminar materials prepared by presenters representing the public and private sector.

The registration fee to attend this seminar is $100 for lawyers licensed to practice less than five years and $125 for lawyers licensed to practice for five years or more. Payment and the registration form must be received by Wednesday, April 29. Participants can fax the registration form to the State Bar at (517) 346-6365 or mail it with check or credit card payment to:
