SBM Labor and Employment Law Section Sponsors Seminar

The State Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section is hosting its annual Springboard seminar at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at The Reserve at Big Rock Chop House, 245 S. Eton St., Birmingham.

The Springboard features a series of roundtable discussions followed by an evening of networking, beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. This year, hear from the decision-makers. Three 45-minute roundtable sessions on “Motion Practice,” “Facilitation and Mediation,” and “Case Evaluation” will allow attendees to engage judges and experienced practitioners on topics that include, using oral argument effectively, managing client expectations, achieving favorable resolutions, and drafting persuasive motions and statements.
