Directions

Due to the extensive road construction on I-196 causing ramp closures near DeVos Place and the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, alternative routes are recommended. Follow the instructions below or for up-to-the-minute traffic information, you may contact DeVos Place at (616) 742-6500 or the Amway Grand Plaza at (616) 774-2000.

From the North
Travel US-131 South. The best exit is Pearl Street. At the end of the ramp turn left onto Pearl Street. Take Pearl Street to Monroe Avenue and make a left. Take Monroe to Lyon Street and make a left. The entrance to the DeVos Place parking ramp will be on your left just before the river.

From the South
Travel US-131 North. The best exit is Pearl Street. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Pearl Street. Take Pearl Street to Monroe and make a left. Take Monroe to Lyon Street and make a left. The entrance to the DeVos Place parking ramp will be on your left just before the river.

From the West
From Muskegon
Travel I-96 East to US-131 South. The best exit is Pearl Street. At the end of the ramp turn left onto Pearl Street. Take Pearl Street to Monroe Avenue and make a left. Take Monroe to Lyon Street and make a left.

From Holland
Travel I-196 East. To avoid the I-196 construction near downtown, Take exit 77B for US-131 S toward Kalamazoo. Merge onto Mt. Vernon Avenue NW. Turn left at Pearl St NW, Pearl Street will take you across the river to Monroe Ave. Turn left onto Monroe Avenue, then right onto Lyon Street.

NOTE: MDOT is reconstructing parts of I-196 near DeVos Place. They have noted that the Ottawa exit is closed. If you choose to stay on I-196 W, you can take the College Street exit and turn right onto Michigan Avenue, then left onto Monroe Avenue. From the East
Travel I-96 West to I-196 towards Grand Rapids. To avoid the I-196 construction near downtown, take exit 79/Fuller Street, turn left onto Fuller. Take the 2nd right onto Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Monroe Avenue, then right onto Lyon Street.
