Request for Accommodations Form Available for Attorneys
6/22/99 The Disabilities Committee of the State Bar of Michigan Open Justice Commission wishes to have all attorneys understand that a Request for Accommodations form is available for themselves and their clients. The Michigan judiciary is committed to open access to judicial services. If you or your client require special accommodations for an appearance in a Michigan court, please notify the court in advance of your appearance so that the court has the opportunity to make reasonable accommodations. Notice should be provided by use of the form Request for Accommodations (MC70), which can be printed or downloaded from the Michigan Supreme Court State Court Administrative Office website at http://www.supremecourt.state.mi.us/courtdata/mc70.pdf and mailed to the court administrator of the trial court in which you are scheduled to appear. Requests for accommodations of the Court of Appeals should be directed to the Clerk of the Court of Appeals. Requests for accommodations for the Supreme Court should be directed to the Clerk of the Supreme Court. This form can also be obtained through the SCAO Form book.
