Location: Bodman PLLC, Detroit Office

Are you exploring a career path course change and wondering what it takes to become an in-house attorney? Or maybe you are in law school and lawyering from the inside has always been your dream?  Perhaps you have heard the common “requirements” one *must* satisfy before going in-house (3-5 years legal experience, big law firm background, business degrees/certification, etc.)?

Then we have just the program for YOU!  We will feature an esteemed panel of current in-house attorneys who will share their stories along with incredibly useful tips and insight on how to enter and thrive in this world.  Questions will be answered, rumors will be silenced, and myths will be dispelled.  This program will also be of particular importance to those who serve in outside counsel roles as you will have a unique opportunity to get inside the minds of in-house attorneys to learn what they are looking for and what really makes them tick!  Our esteemed panel will feature:

*Randal Brown* | *General Counsel, Great Lakes Water Authority*

*Kim Ward* | *Corporate Counsel, Yazaki North America Inc.*

*Choi Portis *| *Associate General Counsel, City of Detroit Water and Sewerage Department*

*Eric Mathis* | *Senior Corporate Counsel, MAHLE Industries, Inc.*

*Tiffany Boyd* | *Assistant Corporation Counsel, City of Detroit Law Department*

*Nikkiya Branch* | *Associate General Counsel, City of Detroit Water and Sewerage Department*

We expect to keep the dialogue highly interactive and intriguing.  Jerome Crawford, Associate Legal Director of Horizon Global Corporation, will moderate the event. Here are the particulars:
