Details: Each year, the Detroit Bar Association Foundation presents the Dennis W. Archer Award to an attorney or jurist who exemplifies the ideal of the law as public service.  This year, we are proud to announce that Detroit Mayor Michael Duggan has been selected for this honor.
As a lifelong Michigander, Mayor Duggan has served the people of Detroit in many capacities.  Whether in the Wayne County law department, as Deputy Wayne County Executive, as Wayne County Prosecutor, or as CEO of DMC, Mayor Duggan has worked to find solutions to many of Detroit's most pressing problems.
Many problems remain.  The need in our community is great, and the Detroit Bar Association Foundation is eager to meet those needs.  With that in mind, we invite you to sponsor the Dennis W. Archer Award gala at the Detroit Yacht Club on November 16th.
This event is the annual fundraiser for the Detroit Bar Association Foundation.  Your participation will help to fund all activities of the Foundation, including its Access to Justice programs, Detroit School Partnership programs, and community education and outreach.
