The OCBA presents its all-new "Court Rules" series detailing best practices in the courtroom. This month's presentation covers the Oakland County Family Court.

Speakers: Honorable Mary Ellen Brennan, Honorable Jeffery S. Matis and Honorable Karen McDonald; and Jacob Cunningham, Staff Attorney to Judge Mary Ellen Brennan. Moderator: J. Matthew Catchick, Jr.

Course Description:  Each “Court Rules” seminar provides a unique primer on best advocacy practices in Oakland County Courts from the court personnel who work there. The first half of each session is presented by a judicial staff attorney on effective motion practice and other pretrial matters. The second part is a moderated panel of judges discussing the do’s and don’ts of representing a client in their courtrooms.

This seminar is part of OCBA U - programs designed to help you grow your careers by sharing the knowledge and skills you need.
