Federal Bar Ass'n: Law Day

The FBA and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan invite you, your staff, clients, and downtown neighbors to visit the Levin Courthouse at 231 W. Lafayette Blvd., Detroit, and the judges on Law Day 2017, celebrating the “14th Amendment/Transforming American Democracy.” This event, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 1 features an open house, guided courthouse tours, informative displays, a special presentation by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the always helpful “Ask the Lawyer” pro bono program. And, of course, hot dogs, chips and cookies. This is a free event. Be advised that you must present photo ID to enter the courthouse and that cell phones are not permitted in the courthouse.
