Join WLAM-Wayne from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 for networking, drinks, appetizers, and an open discussion on sexual harassment and its ever present nature in our modern society. “From Flattery to Fear–Looking at Sexual Harassment in Everyday Life” will be led by a panel, including Patricia Nemeth, employment attorney and partner at Nemeth Law PC, Dean Phyllis Crocker, University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Sheldon J. Stark, mediator and arbitrator, and Fawn Montgomery, Washtenaw County assistant prosecuting attorney and Army veteran. The meeting will be moderated by Meghan Brennan, senior manager of marketing, media and special events at the Pope Francis Center. The event will be held at the Detroit Athletic Club, Randolph Suites, 241 Madison St,  Detroit and will include the installation of officers. Cost is $35 for WLAM members in advance ($40 at the door) and $45 for non-members in advance ($50 at the door). Space is limited and registration closes May 11.
