What is a Macro?
A macro is a shortcut for performing a series of actions.
It can be as simple as entering signature lines or standard blocks of text into a document or much more complex.
This class will teach you how to record macros and assign key strokes. (Visual Basic macro creation will not be taught.)
What is a Style?
Styles are the underlying architecture of Word.
A style is a set of pre-defined formatting instructions also containing “tags” which identify parts of the document.
Styles ...
- Allow for quick formatting modifications throughout the document.
- Facilitate numbering, indexing, and outlining.
- Answer the question “why did that happen?”
