Short-Story Contest The Michigan Bar Journal received 26 entries in its second short-story contest. Congratulations to our 13 finalists: Crucible of Justice by Jeffrey Caminsky 3RD PLACE Winning entries will be published in the August 2009 issue of the Michigan Bar Journal. All finalist stories will be posted above in August. The Michigan Bar Journal accepts the following for publication: (1) general- interest articles, (2) theme issue articles, and (3) contributions to a column. General-interest articles are considered for publication by the Journal's three-member article review committee. Theme issue articles must pertain to the specific theme topic and will be considered for publication by the issue editor. Click here for a list of future theme issues. Contributions to a column must pertain specifically to the column's topic. The column editor will then consider these for publication. All articles and columns must conform to the Michigan Bar Journal's guidelines: Submit your article electronically to Linda Novak, editor, at lnovak@mail.michbar.org.
