The State Bar refers bills of interest to sections and committees whose jurisdiction is within the subject matter of the bill. Responses submitted are used by the Public Policy, Image, and Identity Committee of the State Bar, as well as the Board of Commissioners and Representative Assembly to determine what position, if any, the State Bar should take on a particular bill or issue.
