The Water Law Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan meets periodically throughout the year. The subject matter and location of our meetings varies. Often meetings occur through conference calls. We frequently review recent cases or proposed legislation relating to water law issues. We also discuss actual case scenarios submitted by committee members. The committee has made a commitment to submit at least one article for publication in the Michigan Real Property Review every other year. Our meetings often focus upon the subject matter of pending articles.
